This research is framed within the Anthropocene, a period characterized by the unsustainable transformation of the world due to human influence. In response to this issue, biomimicry is examined as a field of knowledge that seeks to reintegrate human systems into natural systems, aiming for humanity to embark on a new era based not on what can be extracted from the natural world, but on what can be learned from it. The main objective of this research is to design architectural strategies based on biomimicry in the context of the Anthropocene. The methodological approach applied is theoretical and practical, structured through a referential framework (problematic), procedural (positions), and operational (strategies). Various instrumental sheets are used to develop each specific objective, such as a temporal sheet to analyze the approximations between biomimicry and ecology in the Anthropocene, a registration sheet to identify positions that redefined the machine for living to coexist in biological machinery, and finally, a taxonomic sheet to propose architectural strategies for the hybridization of living and non-living nature. In general terms, the results of this research offer a set of biomimetic architectural strategies based on an ecological cohabitation approach to human and non-human life systems, social and cultural relationships, as well as the interactions between species, habitats, ecology, and architecture in response to anthropogenic challenges.
