Currently, there is a significant increase in the population of older adults who require preventive-promotional care, however, many times they do not receive the required comprehensive care, thus arising the need to guarantee quality care and thereby achieve satisfaction in the care. perceived care. The aim was to determine the level of satisfaction of the elderly regarding comprehensive nursing care in the elderly life stage in a public hospital. Quantitative research, non-experimental, descriptive cross-sectional design. The sample was made up of 163 older adults, selected based on established inclusion criteria. “Questionnaire level of satisfaction on comprehensive nursing care in older adults” was applied, which consisted of 26 questions, it was validated through Aiken's V (0.96) and its reliability was tested using Cronbach's alpha (0.83), being valid and reliable to be applied. Belmont's ethical principles were taken into account. The results showed that 62.58% of older adults reported a high level of satisfaction with comprehensive nursing care, 36.81% medium, and 0.61% low. Regarding the dimensions, it was obtained that the comprehensive care dimension achieved 68.10% favorable satisfaction, 30.06% indifferent and 1.84% unfavorable; the timely care dimension 49.69% favorable, 30.06% indifferent and 20.25% unfavorable; the safe care dimension 30.67% favorable, 66.87% indifferent, 2.45% unfavorable and the continuous care dimension obtained the highest favorable score as a final value with 81.60%, 15.34% indifferent and 3.07 % unfavorable.
