Currently, academic procrastination is a common problem among high school students, who abandon their academic activities to dedicate themselves to other leisure activities, generating negative consequences such as: bad grades, dropping out of courses, evasion of responsibilities, among others; Given this, the question arises: What is the level of academic procrastination according to dimensions in students of a national secondary school, Pacanga 2023?, with the general objective of determining the level of academic procrastination according to dimensions in students of a national secondary school of Pacanga 2023. Pacanga. The research design is non-experimental - descriptive; The population was obtained with a stratified sampling, leaving a total of 206 students. The Academic Procrastination Scale (EPA) instrument created by Busko (1998) adapted to the Peruvian context by Álvarez (2010) has been used, which evaluates two dimensions of academic procrastination: academic self-regulation and postponement of activities. It was found that both factors of academic procrastination stand out at the average level, concluding that students procrastinate occasionally.
