The Mala Valley is an important supplier of many fruits and vegetables, among which is the cultivation of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), being a supplier of this fruit to the capital in the months of December to June. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to show all the basic information for the production of this crop. In which the cultivation begins with the sectorization of the land where all the plots of the campaign will be planted, and then proceed with the appropriate subsoiling and furrowing, after this work we proceed to the corresponding application of soil conditioners, in which We will delve into this point due to its importance and significant improvement in the effectiveness of inorganic fertilizers, reflected in the improvement of yields over the years. Then the application of soluble fertilizers used through the irrigation system is mentioned, among them a new one stands out, which is the Mikrothor with a different technology than conventional soluble fertilizers, in addition to the importance of applying the fertilizers through a plan. of absorption curves. Likewise, we focus on health and its vital importance of this tool, making use of the FRAC and IRAC codes in order to avoid pesticide resistance and make good use of this tool, then we culminate with the harvest and its respective sale in the Great Wholesale Market of Lima and finally the costs involved in producing a hectare of this crop and the respective costs in the production process are detailed.
