The present thesis entitled "CONTRIBUTION MARGIN AND OPERATING PROFIT IN THE PRODUCTION OF THE PINE MOUTHS IN THE COMMUNITY OF ANDAMAYO OF THE DISTRICT OF OCONGATE - PERIOD 2020", answers: In what way is the contribution margin and operating profit determined in the production of pine mushrooms in the community of Andamayo of the district of Ocongate in the period 2020, with the objective of: Determine the contribution margin and operating profit in the production of pine mushrooms in the community of Andamayo of the district of Ocongate in the province of Ocongate period - 2020. The thesis is structured in five chapters: Chapter I, describes the problematic reality, formulates the research problems, justifies the relevance of the study and establishes the general and specific objectives. Chapter II, Theoretical Framework, exposes concepts referred to the theories and variables. Chapter III, Methodological Design, includes the methodology used and the data collection techniques. Chapter IV. Results, which were obtained through data processing, highlighting that the results were positive since the result of the contribution margin was 58% and 42.7% of operating profit which is beneficial for the producers of the community of Andamayo, as it indicates that the income generated by sales are sufficient to cover the variable costs associated with the production of pine mushrooms, because the product (pine mushrooms) is being efficient and that the operations related to this product are contributing significantly to the profits of the producers of the community of Andamayo. As we know, the higher the contribution margin and the higher the operating profit, the higher the profitability of that particular product. Chapter V. Discussion where we analyze each result.
