"Urinary tract infection and pre-eclampsia in pregnant women attended at Hospital II - 1 Moyobamba, San Martin - 2022" Urinary tract infection is one of the most common infections, with an annual incidence of up to 15% in adult women, with a first episode occurring before reaching 32 years old. The present study aims to determine the relationship between urinary tract infection and preeclampsia in pregnant women attended at Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, San Martín - 2022. It was a basic, quantitative, retrospective, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design. The sample consisted of 2506 pregnant women, 224 of whom were diagnosed with UTI and 89 with preeclampsia. The technique used was documentary analysis and the guiding instrument for documentary analysis developed by the authors. Results: The prevalence of pregnant women with urinary tract infection attended at Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, San Martín - 2022 was 8.9% (224) of the total number of pregnant women and preeclampsia was 3.6% (89) of the total number of pregnant women attended at Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, San Martín - 2022.There is a positive and highly significant statistical relationship between urinary tract infection and preeclampsia without and with severity criteria in pregnant women attended at Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, San Martín - 2022 (p < 0.05). It is concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between urinary tract infection and preeclampsia in pregnant women attended at Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, San Martín - 2022.
