Relationship between landscape indices and the presence of Callicebus oenanthe in the ravines of the city of Moyobamba. The research was carried out in forty ravines of the city of Moyobamba, using the methodology of listening points with the playback technique and the binomial distribution of presence-absence (values 1-0, respectively) and the quantification of fragmentation by means of landscape ecology, having as general objective "To evaluate the relationship between landscape indices and the presence of the " Rio Mayo titi monkey" (C. oenanthe) in the ravines of Moyobamba". Data were collected by locating sampling points through quadrats in order to determine the presence of C. oenanthe, while fragmentation was quantified by landscape indices: area, perimeter, shape and edge. The results show that 19 of the 40 ravines are occupied by the species. The landscape of the city of Moyobamba covers 1,213 ha, the predominant cover corresponds to the urban area with 1,102.926 ha and the patches to the ravines with 110.074 ha. Regarding landscape indices, ravines vary in area from less than one hectare to 17 hectares. Regarding the shape of the ravines, about half of them correspond to defined shapes, however, they are isolated over long distances and modified, decreasing the possibility of generating ecosystem services. The correlation between the area and the presence of C. oenanthe is significant and positive, the occupation of the ravines has greater variability depending on the area, the absence is related to areas of smaller extension. On the other hand, the correlation between the shape and the presence of C. oenanthe is significant and negative, meaning that the species inhabits ravines with round or defined shapes, from proportions close to 1 and less than 2.5, while the absence of the primate is mainly determined in shapes with irregular proportions close to 1.5 and greater than 2.5. This research provides new information about the consequences of landscape fragmentation in urban and peri-urban forest patches in order to consider landscape indices in local urban planning.
