The present research work is entitled "Determination of concrete strength, foundation soil and surface evaluation of the rigid pavement of Jr. Libertad blocks two to nine, Zaragoza neighborhood, city of Moyobamba, district of Moyobamba, San Martin Region". The objective is to identify the different types of failures and establish the serviceability conditions of the rigid pavement using the pavement condition index (PCI) method, from block two to block nine of Jr. Libertad, Zaragoza neighborhood, city of Moyobamba, district of Moyobamba, San Martin Region. The evaluation was carried out using the pavement condition index methodology, the traffic study, the concrete compressive strength study using the sclerometer equipment, the CBR study using the dynamic cone penetrometer ( DCP) and soil studies for its classification. Each is respectively regulated by ASTM D 6433-18, 2014 Highway, Soils, Geotechnical and Pavement Manual, ASTM C 805-02, ASTM D 6951-03 and ASTM D 2487-11, with the study section being from block two to block nine of Jr. Libertad, which includes 152 hydraulic concrete pavements as study population. in the case of the PCI sampling study, 7 sample units were considered, each composed of 19 panels; for the study with the sclerometer equipment, the study sample consisted of 110 panels; for the traffic study, only one monitoring point located in block 8 of Jr. Libertad intersection with Jr. Coronel Secada; for the CBR study with the dynamic cone penetrometer (PDC), 16 exploration points were used and 3 test pits were made for the soil study, in blocks 2, 5 and 7 of Jr. Libertad. The following data were obtained: in the study on the compressive strength of the concrete in situ with the sclerometer, the result was an average f'cprom=257kg/cm2 and a Modulus of Rupture of 31. 87 kg/cm2 ; for the in situ CBR study with the Cone Dynamic Penetrometer ( CDP), the average CBR value found at 600 mm depth from the pavement surface was 12.97% for the subbase and at a depth of 900 mm, it has a CBR of 10.97% for the subgrade. In the soil studies, fine soils of low plasticity were found; in the traffic study, the ESALS calculation showed that the result for a 20-year pavement projection was 8.78 *10^7, finally, for the PCI study, an average value of PCI=48 was obtained. It is concluded that the compressive strength of the concrete in the rigid pavement pavements does not meet the standards of the norm, so it is necessary to make a new mix design for a higher strength than the current one, the CBR of the subbase does not meet the minimum requirements of the norm and it is necessary to change it for a material with better characteristics. The soil studies indicate that the subbase should be replaced by a granular subbase and the subgrade should be improved by soil stabilization. The evidence of the frequency of load repetitions due to traffic may cause settlement problems, so the dowells system should be added between pavements to improve load transfer from pavement to pavement. Finally, the PCI study highlights the need for maintenance, making urgent the repaving of the study area.
