Nowadays, the rapid growth of the population in most cities of the country, has resulted in increased demand for higher and better public services and one of the most important public services is surplus stormwater, known as urban storm drain. The thesis project called: Hydraulic and structural design of the storm drainage system in the town of Fausa Sapina, El Dorado, San Martin, the research seeks to solve the serious problems of, progressive deterioration of slope public roads, platforms of existing arts works, which occur in Fausa Sapina when ordinary and extraordinary rainfall occurs. In this thesis, topographical surveys have been carried out in the current urban area, information that allowed us to obtain the plans of the project. Topographic plans (blocks and level curves) allow us to define a total area of 28.58ha to be drained, which has been divided into 37 collecting areas and 140 stormwater collector areas have been determined, see the Plan of Collector Areas (PCA). This work will serve as the basis for the execution of urban storm drainage works, which are proposed for their execution in the short and medium term, because of the magnitude of the construction costs.
