Performance analysis of the mechanical equipment for the earthmoving of the project: Improvement of the Chambira - San Juan del Caño sector road - district of Juanjuí The general objective of this research work was to carry out a comparative analysis between the performance formulated in the technical file and the performance obtained in the field of the mechanical equipment used during the execution of the earthmoving, paving and transportation items of the project: "Improvement of the Chambira - San Juan del Caño sector road - district of Juanjuí" with unique investment code 2297272, having the San Martin Regional Government as investment executing entity and the Caño Executing Consortium as contractor. The location of the project begins in the street prolongación Huallaga cdra. 3 in the Chambira sector of the Juanjuí district and ends in the San Juan del Caño hamlet. Field data were collected for the development of the research, such as the work cycle, speeds of each of the machines used during the execution of the earthmoving works, factors intervening in the performance and other external factors. The methodology used in the investigation was through direct observation, which means that measurements were taken of the work cycle of each of the machines used in the execution of the work. Subsequently, it was concluded with the calculation of the performance per item using the performance formulas corresponding to each type of machinery. The machinery analyzed was: Excavators: Caterpillar Cat 323, Komatsu Pc 210 Lc, Hyundai 220 LC-9, Doosan DX 225 LCA; Crawler tractor: Caterpillar Cat D6H; Motor Graders: Caterpillar CAT 140K, Caterpillar CAT 120K John Deere 770CH; Front loader: Sinomach 957H, Volvo L90C, Rollers: Caterpillar CAT CS54B, Bomag BW 211 D-40, Tippers trucks: Mercedes Benz F0X 830 of 15 M3, Iveco BAP 895 of 15 M3, Tanker: Volvo 2000 gal. The following average performance per equipment was obtained: Excavators (908 m3/day), Crawler Tractor (1788.91 m3/day), Motor Graders (1147.33 m3/day), Front Loaders (1114.98 m3/day), Self-propelled Smooth Rollers (3162.26 m3/day), and (3808.66 m2/day). 33 m3/day), Front loaders (1114.98 m3/day), Self-propelled smooth rollers (3162.26 m3/day), and (3808.66 m2/day), and Tipper truck (808.78 m3k/day), Tanker (61.31 m3/day).
