This research work was carried out based on the requirements and requirements of the regulations required by the Professional School of Civil Engineering of the National University of San Martin, so we put at your disposal the thesis entitled "Hydrogeological study for the purpose of water use underground of the Uchpayacu spring for human consumption in Caserío Tres de Octubre, District of the Shilcayo Band, San Martin Province - San Martin Region, 2019 ”, which aims to conduct a hydrogeological study from the SEV method in the Uchpayacu sector , with the purpose of underground water use for human consumption in the Tres de Octubre Farmhouse. This procedure consists of applying electrical resistance to the ground, which is why the type of soil and groundwater levels are characterized, for the purpose of this, it is to locate the study area that has a record or history of having groundwater for later use. When the study area is located, the SEV points are strategically located; The method used is the Vertical Electrical Probe (SEV), a total of nine vertical electrical probes have been made with a spacing of 30m for each electrode with a total opening of 90 m. in order to study the geoelectric profile of the area, at an approximate depth of 25 m. The equipment used has been the MILLER 400D Model that provides a direct reading of the ground resistance, has a measuring range of 0.01 Ω to 10M Ω, works with a set of replaceable D-Cell industrial alkaline batteries, performs 10,000 individual readings per set of batteries and also has 82.2 Hz bandpass filters. It has been counted for the interpretation of data with the IPI2WIN software, obtaining the number of layers and the real resistivities of the subsoil. All this allowed us to determine soil types, groundwater levels, piezometric curves, flow direction, flow rate and hydrogeological parameters.
