The objective of the research was to evaluate the quality of water for human consumption in the town of Pomalca in the Soritor-Moyobamba district. The research consisted of carrying out the analysis of the physical-chemical and biological dispersion of the drinking water, in 3 sampling points (outlet of the reservoir, first home network and last home network) in the months of October, November, December and January. According to the results obtained, it was concluded that the parameters that exceeded the maximum permissible limits of the regulation of water quality for human consumption DSN ° 031-2010 / SA were the turbidity in 1 sample with 7.57 NTU, the residual chlorine with 0.0 mg / L, heterotrophic bacteria with 84x10 CFU / mL, total coliforms, fecal coliforms and Escherichia coli presented contamination in the water, these results were obtained during the monitoring in the first 3 months. Therefore, the monitoring of the month of January all the parameters met the maximum permissible limits, since the chlorination was carried out during that month where we emphasize its importance. The dispersion analysis as a predictive method had a significant variation in the turbidity given by the determination coefficient being R2 = 0.8472, according to the results of the monitoring at the outlet of the reservoir, as a consequence of the frequency of rainfall; For the rest of parameters such as conductivity, pH, total hardness, residual chlorine, heterotrophic bacteria, total coliforms, fecal coliforms and Escherichia coli, the model as a prediction is not recommended, due to the dispersion of the results with the line of best fit.
