The objective of this descriptive study was to collect information about dolomite on grape (Vitis vinifera) yield in acid soils of Aucaloma, district of San Roque, San Martin. It was a descriptive and exploratory study, using reliable sources and bibliographic background of the last 5 years. The benefits of dolomite in the cultivation of grapes (Vitis vinifera), Aucaloma sector, district of San Roque, San Martin were analyzed and the economic cost of using dolomite was also evaluated. It was concluded that the benefits of dolomite in the cultivation of grapes (Vitis vinifera) Aucaloma sector, district of San Roque, San Martin are as follows: It raises the pH in the acid soils of the Aucaloma sector, neutralizing acids, reducing the toxicity of aluminum and manganese, creating availability of nutrients by providing calcium, magnesium and microelements. In the plant it favors greater root development, photosynthesis, improves the response to fertilizers, greater flowering and fruit quality, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers, promoting sustainable practices, and also reduces the mobility of heavy metals and precipitates them, obtaining a production free of heavy metals. In the analysis of the economic cost using dolomite in grapes (Vitis vinifera L.) revealed that the cost of production according to the experiences is S/ 15 315 with a yield of 9 000 kg/h-1 generating a cost benefit of S/ 2.48 which means that for each "sol" invested S/ 1.28 is earned, a profitability of 148.12%, resulting in an increase of more than 40% in profitability compared to the non-use of dolomite that reached a profitability of 87.28%. This has a significant impact on the economy of grape growers in Aucaloma.
