The thesis project is oriented to find an optimal, economical, environmentally friendly and fast solution for road improvement, since the deficit of an adequate drainage or the absence of it is common, causing deterioration and resulting in puddles, erosion, and so on, generating inconveniences to the users who transit it. In many opportunities the only solution for such problems is the total change of the road surface following procedures very polluting for the environment. This project "Pavement Design and Environmental Impact of the Section: SM-105- Deviation Nuevo San Juan Sector Puerto Alegre in the District of El Porvenir, Province of San Martin, Region of San Martin, was carried out with the purpose of providing an alternative solution to the road problems that exist in the district of El Porvenir. The current state of the local roads lacks optimal conditions for traffic, especially in rainy seasons, causing transport costs to increase, the same that the villagers use to move their products from the countryside to the nearest cities, a fact that affects the economy of farmers and their quality of life. Moreover, the current condition affects users who move from the city to the countryside to supply their households with food for subsistence, as well as inputs to improve their agricultural production and other activities they carry out in the countryside. The development of this project focuses on the search for an efficient and environmentally friendly design for the road at the surfacing level. At the same time, it provides the users of the beneficiary localities with the possibility of transporting agricultural products to the different markets for commercialization and improving their quality of life, reason for which it is necessary to carry out the pavement design and the environmental impact of this section.
