The following study aimed to determine the psychosocial stressors related to the threat of preterm birth and delivery in pregnant women attended at the Hospital II - 2 Tarapoto, August- December 2016, it is a quantitative, descriptive, correlational study, whose sample was 140 pregnant women; having as a technique the interview and as instrument the questionnaire. The results, psychological stressors - psychological violence: harassment 40% of their partner and 35.7% of relatives of the couple; 46% change in attitude of the couple. Physical violence: 27.2% for the couple and 9.3% for self-harm. According to stressors motivation: 21.5% per pregnancy, 70.7% acceptance of pregnancy, 80% joy of pregnancy According to the couple: 80% love in the past, 58.5% prospects for the future. Social stressors: Relatives: 29.3% insinuation of abortion, 60.1% commitment; Direct relatives. 74.3% maternal support, 72.8% support from my family; Relatives of the couple: 53.6% maternal support, 58.6% emotional. Economic situation; 63.6% of the couple, 55% of the family According to personal project: frustration 50% educational and 30% of life project. The 96.4% threatened delivery, 66.4% from 28 to 36 weeks. And 33.6% from 20 to 27 weeks, 27.1% from preterm delivery, 15.0% vaginal delivery and 12.1% cesarean delivery. In conclusion psychological and Social stressors have a statiscally significant relationship (P <0.05), with gestational age, threat of labor and preterm delivery, and type of delivery.
