The following research titled as “Evaluation of the domiciliary composting like model of management of the organic waste in the City of Moyobamba, 2015” tries to determine the satisfaction of the population with regard to the use of the composters, as well as what the degree of efficiency of the same in the production of compost and the reduction de solid waste for its final disposal which reaches the following conclusion: The total amount of solid waste during 7 days 0f 20 homes in Tipinillo sector of the city of Moyobamba is 703.27 kg, having 23 types of domestic solid organic waste, the one with the largest amount is the banana peel with 18.33% followed by the leaf of bijao with a 10.30% and in smaller quantity it is of leaf of lettuce with a 1.50%. The degree of appropriation of the practice of home composting by the residents of Tipinillo sector is 93.7%, since it can obtain land, reduce their waste and improve their crops (flowers and vegetables), indicating what they lack in order to carry out this activity, technical training in composting management. The results indicate that the compost obtained is of good quality for crops, the pH that is between 5.89 to 6.96 can be recommended for different crops, since most of the nutrients are assimilated by the plants if the soil maintains a range of pH of 5.0 to 6.5 (ECOHORTUM, 2017), can be recommended for the cultivation of all types of vegetables, flowers in gardens, for fertilizer for in fruit plants and others. Likewise, compost obtained as fertilizer for crops such as coffee, corn, banana and others can be recommended for the content of NPK they contain.
