Risk factors and complications of adolescent pregnancy at the Morales Health Center, 2021 There is a deficient analysis and characterization of the risk factors of adolescent pregnancy, according to the needs of the community, since the Health Ministry has proposed elements at a general level. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between risk factors and complications of adolescent pregnancy, Morales 2021 Health Center. It was a basic, non-experimental, quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational study. The population and sample consisted of 50 pregnant adolescents. Results: The predominant risk factors for adolescent pregnancy are personal, which include age between 14 and 16 years in 70%, high school education in 86%, and homemaker occupation in 86%. Sociocultural factors include information about parenthood (70%), use of contraceptive methods (condoms) (92%) and gender violence (68%). The predominant complications of adolescent pregnancy were obstetric complications, including infectious diseases (42%) and premature delivery (46%). Regarding perinatal complications, there was a low birth weight in 54% of the cases. According to the chi-square test, the risk factors most closely related to adolescent pregnancy complications were age, level of education, initiation of sexual intercourse, age at onset of pregnancy, information received on responsible parenthood, parental acceptance, and type of contraceptive method. In conclusion: There is a relationship between risk factors and adolescent pregnancy complications, since the correlation coefficient obtained was ,044 (p < 0.05) with an average negative Spearman's Rho correlation of -0.287, which reveals that risk factors have a negative impact on adolescent pregnancy complications, given that this directly affects the stage of pregnancy.
