The objective of the present research was to determine the association between intestinal parasitosis and anemia in children between five and eleven years of age attended at Hospital II-2 Tarapoto in the period January - December 2019. The research was quantitative, retrospective, correlational and non-experimental. The sample consisted of 167 patients between five and eleven years old. The data recording card was used as a research instrument. The results showed that Blastocystis hominis was the intestinal parasite species most frequently observed in the cases with 58.68 %. Of the observed cases, 65.27% had anemia, while 34.73% did not present anemia. In addition, the degree of association between intestinal parasitosis and anemia was low with a Phi value equal to 0.203.
