Violence against women and non-compliance with protection measures at the Prosecutor's Office of the Banda de Shilcayo, 2020 This research focuses on the context of violence against women, which is considered a public health problem in the country, and which has been underestimated until now. It is reported that more than half of the women in Peru have been victims of some type of violence. Since violence is present everywhere and manifests itself in various aspects at both the private and public levels, the following question has been raised: What relationship exists between violence against women and non-compliance with protection measures at the Prosecutor's Office of the Banda de Shilcayo, 2020? The general objective is to establish the relationship between violence against women and non-compliance with protection measures. The specific objectives are the following: i) Identify the human rights that are violated by violence against women; ii) Analyze the effectiveness of the protection process in the face of violence against women; iii) Analyze the factors of non-compliance with protection measures; iv) Determine the relationship between violence against women and non-compliance with protection measures in the Prosecutor's Office of the Banda de Shilcayo, 2020. The area of the research is geographically located in the district of Banda de Shilcayo, in the Public Ministry headquarters - Criminal Prosecutor's Office, during the period of 2020. A mixed methodology was used with a quantitative approach, descriptive correlational level, non-experimental research design, using as instruments the checklist and the documentary analysis guide to resolutions that issued protection measures by the Family Court in cases of violence against women. The result was that the greater the family violence, the higher the number of cases of noncompliance with protection measures. It is concluded that the psychological violence is the main type of violence exercised, thus violating various rights such as integrity, health, and the right to treatment, among others. It is also exposed that the guardianship process in these cases is totally ineffective, but that the legal system itself cannot be maintained due to multiple shortcomings during the investigation. Thus, it is clear that there is non-compliance with protection measures due to the inadequacies of both the legal system and the victims themselves.
