The following thesis investigation is for opting the Professional Title of Civil Engineer, has been developed with the purpose of making a technical-scientific contribution to help solving traffic ability problem of a road, which when executed will allow a neighbor road, which it will contribute to the socioeconomic development of the beneficiary population. The following investigation is an applied type study and developed at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the National University of San Martín, in Moyobamba district, Moyobamba province, in the San Martín Region, have carried it out. This work has been developed applying on the field the existing theories and norms of topography, soil mechanics, traffic, concrete and other related, and that have allowed to have the Design of the Pavement at the level of affirmed of the Neighborhood Road SM-579: EMP . SM-113 (Pueblo Libre) - Spring - Los Olivos de Huascayacu - CC.NN. Shimpiyacu - CC.NN. New Progress. The results show clearly that it is possible achieve, from the correct application of the theories, studies and conclusive results, that after the measured analysis can be presented the pavement design at the affirmed level, evaluating its feasibility in all its context, optimizing its viability. For the developed investigation of the design of the pavement of the Improvement of the neighborhood road of this study, the engineering methods known for these types of studies were used in two phases of work: field and cabinet. During the field phase was made the evaluation and inventory of the current road: definition of the final trace, topographic survey of the road, consisting of the trace, leveling, sectioning and placement of Bench Mark, preparation of pits along the road for soil mechanics studies; traffic study necessary for the design of the pavement of this road. In the Cabinet Phase, It was processed and interpreted from the data obtained, the different soil mechanics tests were carried out, and the topographic plans and the traffic study were processed, and the pavement design was carried out at the same affirmed level. The results of the Investigation clearly show that it is possible to achieve, from the correct application of the theories, studies and conclusive results, to use in the definitive study of this road.
