The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of bovine brucellosis in the province of Mariscal Cáceres. A total of 393 cattle of different ages and breeds from the districts of Campanilla, Huicungo, Juanjuí, Pachiza and Pajarillo were evaluated. Through the analysis of this work, it was determined that the "crossbred" breed is the most common in the province and it was also determined that natural mating is the method used by farmers for the reproduction of their animals, with the district of Pachiza having the highest percentage (3.3%) using the artificial insemination technique.
