This research aims to understand the relationship between lifestyle and Burnout syndrome in health personnel at Hospital II-2, in Tarapoto. It was a descriptive correlational research, cross-sectional, for the data collection it was used a questionnaire to evaluate the lifestyle and the Maslach inventory for the Burnout syndrome which were applied in a personalized way to 207 health workers among them were nurse technicians, nurses, obstetricians and doctors. Results: It is shown that 76.8% of the health personnel at Hospital II-2 in Tarapoto have a healthy lifestyle and do not suffer from Burnout syndrome, while 38.5% have an unhealthy lifestyle if they have this syndrome. The predominant lifestyle is 72% "Healthy", with doctors who have the best lifestyle, nurse technicians and nurses are more likely to develop Burnout syndrome. 69% do not have Burnout syndrome and the syndrome is evidenced in 31%. The predominant level is High with 53.1%. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between lifestyle and the level of Burnout syndrome, people who have a healthy lifestyle are less likely to have the syndrome compared to those who do not have a healthy lifestyle.
