Prevalence of anemia and associated factors in children aged from 6 to 36 months in the Bello Horizonte Health Center from October 2021 to March 2022 The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the prevalence of anemia and associated factors in children aged from 6 to 36 months in the Bello Horizonte Health Post from October 2021 to March 2022. The methodology of the research was applied, descriptive and correlational with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 100% of the population studied, with a total of 50 children, and the data collection technique was by using a data collection form and a questionnaire. The data collected showed that 58% of children presented mild anemia, 10% presented moderate anemia and 32% did not present any type of anemia. Sociodemographic factors, economic factors and health factors were not directly related to the prevalence of anemia; however, the nutritional factor of vitamin supplement consumption was directly related to the prevalence of anemia, with a p-value of 0.000. Finally, it is concluded that the prevalence of anemia is not directly related to the associated factors in children aged from 6 to 36 months in the Bello Horizonte health post during the period from October 2021 to March 2022.
