The general objective of this research was to evaluate the environmental impact of rice cultivation on soils due to the different doses of agrochemicals (Troy, Caporal) in the Florida Sector, having as one of the main objectives the formulation of an alternative solution to improve the soils through the use of eco-friendly agriculture. The type of research is applied, as population it had 3 Has of rice cultivation and a sample of 4 parcels. High levels of heavy metals were found, mainly chromium VI and cadmium, which proved to be affecting the quality and contaminating soils; in the same way, when applying the matrix of environmental impacts, it was detected that these chemical elements negatively and significantly impact on flora, fauna, landscape, water and soil. The degree of pollution caused by cadmium and chromium VI is very high, lead does not exceed the norm, therefore, the level is low; however, the presence and contamination by these heavy metals is latent, which are causing a number of severe effects to the environment and human health that were not yet quantified. Finally, the eco-friendly alternative of fertilizing with coffee husks and cocoa honey water has proven to be effective in reducing the level of concentration of the three heavy metals, especially chromium VI and cadmium, which considerably reduced their concentration.
