The present study aimed to "Determine the relationship between self-care practices in sexual and reproductive health and adolescent pregnancy in the Morales Health Center, July-November 2017", non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study, population and sample was 80 teenagers. The technique was the interview and the instrument the questionnaire. The results, the self-care according to genital hygiene was: 100% perform hygiene of the genitals properly, every day, from front to back and from the inside out, use soap in their washing and abstain from douching. However, they do not perform hygiene after sexual intercourse. Self-care according to the prevention of pregnancy, 100% have initiated sexual activity, 47.5% use contraception, 12.5% indicated by qualified professionals and 52.5% do not use MAC. The self-care according to the management of genital flows was: 90% had vaginal discharge or decrease; 50.0% went to the obstetrician or doctor for diagnosis and treatment. The practices of self-care according to cancer preventive self-examination were: 47.5% practiced self-care of breast self-examination. According to the type of adolescence and the occurrence of pregnancy and infections it was found: 72.5% became pregnant. Of the pregnant adolescents, 96.5% were 15 - 19 years old. According to the infections, 20.0% of the adolescents were between 15 and 19 years old. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between self-care practices in sexual and reproductive health and adolescent pregnancy, the non-parametric chi square test, the results were (X2 = 6.705, p = 0.015).
