The following research work evaluates the technical pedagogical reality in the Educational Institution N ° 00537 "Matilde Del Aguila Velasquez" of the city of Rioja, in which a certain level of weakness in the management of motivational strategies in the conduction of the learning sessions on the part of teachers is identified. Motivated by this concern we consider emphasizing the importance of motivation and attention as two essential variables to learn, linking them to the need for teachers to acquire a significant level of awareness to work on their strengthening when interacting with children and girls. The following is a descriptive correlational investigation, because the current description of the problem was made based on the analysis and interpretation of the trend of the results found. The selected sample was a section of the first grade, selected according to the non-probabilistic sample, without norm or accidental, made up of 30 children of that institution. The analysis of the results showed that: The majority of children (4) with a high level of management of motivational strategies have a high level of attention. Likewise, the majority of children (14) with a medium level of management of motivational strategies have a medium level of attention. In addition, all children (6) with a low level of management of motivational strategies have a low level of attention. With these results it was obtained that the statistical value of the calculated Pearson correlation (0.78) is greater than the tabular value (0.36). This indicates that both variables are not independent; then, the relationship is significant between the management of motivational strategies and the induction of attention in children of first grade.
