The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between resilience and self-concept in patients with HIV-AIDS, from the STI-HIV / AIDS and Hepatitis B Health Strategy of Yarinacocha-Pucallpa Hospital, June 2016 - January 2017, a quantitative, descriptive, correlational, prospective, cross-sectional study in a sample of 87 HIV / AIDS patients, the methodology was the survey and the instruments were the questionnaires of resilience and self-concept. The results, according to sociodemographic characteristics, are: between 26 and 35 years of age, male, they come from Pucallpa, with their own house, work, are single, are Catholic, average family income is 542.5 soles / month. Resilience: dimension introspection, 50.6% have average capacity; 65.5% have medium initiative; 69.0% have medium mood; 72.4% have medium interaction; 59.8% have medium independence; 65.5% have creative media; 55.2% have average morality; 51.7% have an average critical judgment. Self-concept was, in the personal 50.8% average perception; In the familiar 57.5% mean perception; 42.5% average perception in the social; In behavior, 41.4% negative behavior. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the creativity dimension of resilience and self-concept, p = 0.003. There is also a significant relationship between resilience and self-concept, p = 0.034. Key words: Resilience, Self-concept, HIV-AIDS, Health Strategy.
