The following research work was developed in the public sector institutions of the district of Tarapoto that have computer offices or whoever takes their place. The general objective was to determine the degree of influence of administrative management on the quality of information technology services in public sector institutions of Tarapoto District. For this reason, the hypothesis was put forward: Administrative management significantly influences the quality of information technology services in the public sector institutions of Tarapoto district. The Excel, E-Views_v10 and SPSS_v21 programs were used to perform the statistical tests, from which the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, KMO and Bartlett's test, variance, median, Pearson's correlation, Fisher's test, student's test, were obtained. , whose information allowed the data to be analyzed, interpreted and contrasted. As a result of the processing and analysis of the information, it has been possible to achieve the objective of the research and the validity of the hypothesis has been confirmed, concluding further that the variations in the quality of information technology services in the public entities of the Tarapoto district are explained in a 98.69% by administrative management. Likewise, a management model and improvement actions developed in prospective to the anticipated changes in the use of information and communication technologies in the institutions of the public sector of the Tarapoto district are proposed.
