The objective of this research was to analyze the correlation of the pedagogical support and the teaching performance in primary schools of the Local Educational Management Unit (UGEL) of the province of Mariscal Cáceres in 2019. The type of research was applicative, with descriptive level and correlational design with a population sample of 77 teachers. The procedure consisted in the application of the instruments to the selected sample, the statistical analysis and the hypothesis test were then carried out using the Pearson correlation coefficient. The results indicate that the level of pedagogical support is very good (74%), in the same way the level is very good in all its dimensions: classroom visit (63.6%), collaborative learning group (74%), and refresher courses for teachers (72.7%). The level of teaching performance is very good (55.8%), in the same way the level was very good in its dimensions: teaching planning (61%), creating a climate conducive to learning (74%), conducting of teaching process (51.9%), evaluation of learning (50.6%), whereas the dimension of reflection on the practice and experience resulted in a good level (40.3%). Finally, it has been concluded that there is a positive average correlation (r = 0.617) between the variables pedagogical support and teacher performance, being it significant (p <5%).
