Risk factors and preterm birth in adolescent pregnant women attended at the II-2 Tarapoto hospital, 2022 Objective: To determine the risk factors for preterm delivery in adolescent pregnant women attended at hospital II-2 Tarapoto, 2022. Material and Methods: A basic, quantitative, non-experimental, analytical, cross-sectional case-control study was carried out, in which 136 cases and controls were evaluated, respectively. Documentary analysis technique and documentary analysis form instrument. Results: The sociodemographic characteristics of the adolescent pregnant women did not show to be a risk factor for preterm delivery in adolescent pregnant women. The obstetric risk factors identified were: preeclampsia/eclampsia (OR=1.895; p < 0.05), multiple pregnancy (OR=3.092), premature rupture of membranes (OR=1.473), chorioamnionitis (OR=2.015) and history of abortion (OR=5.153). The gynecological risk factors were bacterial vaginosis (OR=1.895) and medical risk factors the presence of anemia (OR=1.864; p < 0.05). It is concluded that there are obstetric, gynecological and medical risk factors that, if not identified and treated early, can trigger preterm labor.
