The general objective of the research work entitled: "Parental commitment and attitudes towards the educational inclusion of children with intellectual disabilities in the San Martín Region, 2021", was to determine the relationship between the level of parental commitment and attitudes towards the educational inclusion of children with intellectual disabilities in the San Martín Region, 2021. For this purpose, a descriptive correlational design was used, and the sample was made up of 105 parents of children with intellectual disabilities. In order to identify parental commitment, the scale of the same name was applied, which consists of 24 items and is rated from 0 to 6 points, and to evaluate the attitude towards intellectual disability, an attitude survey was used, which consists of three dimensions: affective, assistance and social. It was found that there is a level of parental involvement of parents of children with intellectual disabilities, with the medium level being the highest percentage with 58.1% and the lowest level being the high level with 17.1%. The relationship between the level of parental commitment and the affective dimension of the attitude towards educational inclusion was found to be significant, with a calculated chi-square of 64.894 and a tabular chi square of 9.49. In turn, the relationship between the level of parental commitment and the caring dimension, is significant with 56.759 for the calculated chi and with 9.49 for the tabular chi as well as the social dimension, being the calculated chi with 99.929 higher than the tabular chi-square with 9.49. It is concluded that the level of parental commitment and attitude towards the educational inclusion of children with intellectual disabilities in the San Martin Region, 2021, is significant.
