The objective of this research is to "Determine the seismic risk of the model market of Soritor, Moyobamba, San Martin" using the methodology of verification of the maximum displacements between floors in a dynamic spectral analysis. Afetr obtention of the results a non-linear "PUSHOVER" analysis will be performed to determine the capacity curve and verify the levels defined by the VISION 2000 Committee, which are: Fully Operational, Operational, Life Safety, Near Collapse and Collapse. The plans of the district municipality of Soritor were requested and a field verification of the site to be evaluated. In addition, a sclerometry test to determine the actual strength of the hardened concrete was ordered. The soil characteristics were obtained from present studies that were carried out perimetrically to the structure, providing suficient data to conclude the project. Once the basic information was obtained, models were created with the ETAPS 2019 computer program in order to evaluate the structural behavior of the structure. The results obtained from the program determined that the structure presents a high risk that should be taken into account by all visitors. The building has a considerable seismic vulnerability, and the danger is increased by the poor condition of the metal roof and the fact that it is built with a structural steel element fy=4200kg/cm2, which is not allowed to be used for this purpose.
