The main objective of this research was to evaluate the lunar phases with the greatest influence on the capture and development of the CCN-51 clone cocoa crop, in four types of grafts in the district of Tocache, San Martín. The investigation was carried out in the "El Porvenir" estate owned by Mr. Ramiro Gonzáles Escalante, located in the district and province of Tocache in the San Martín region. We used the Design of Blocks Completely Random (DBCA), with factorial arrangement four types of grafts (Central Pus, Lateral Insertion, Lateral Piston and Patch) and four lunar phases (New Moon, Fourth Crescent, Full Moon and Fourth Waning). The pattern used was clone Pound 7 and yolks and yeras were from clone CCN-51. The seedlings of clone Pound 7 were acquired from the Ministry of Agriculture of Tocache and were transplanted to the final field and grafted three days after each lunar phase. The evaluated variables were: Percentage of prendimiento, height of bud of the graft, diameter of the bud, number of leaves of the bud of the graft. The results obtained indicate that the lateral insertion graft (mummy) obtained the highest percentage of arrest in all lunar phases. The patch-type graft obtained the highest average in shoot height and number of leaves in the lunar phase of the fourth quarter. The patch type graft obtained the highest average shoot diameter in the fourth quarter phase.
