The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between lifestyles and eating habits in students from I to IV cycle of the Professional School of Nursing at the National University of San Martín. April-November 2021, the study was conducted with a quantitative approach methodology, descriptive correlational with a cross-sectional design, prospective, non-experimental; the sample consisted of 102 students, the survey was used as a technique for data collection and the questionnaire as an instrument. As a result, in sociodemographic data, 50% of the students are between 19 and 20 years old, 75% are female, while 47% belong to the city of Tarapoto, only 4% of the total are presenting paternity, 42% of them practice the Catholic religion, 31% of them are in the third cycle and 71% live with their parents. Therefore, in the lifestyle dimensions, it was determined that nutrition (56%), exercise (86%), health responsibility (84%) and stress management (75%) present unhealthy lifestyles and interpersonal support (83%) and self-actualization (86%) present healthy lifestyles. In the dimensions of the variable eating habits, selection, preference and place of food intake (82%) and beliefs and schedule in food intake (89%) present healthy eating habits. Conclusions: It was determined that there is no relationship between lifestyles and eating habits in students from I to IV cycle of the Professional School of Nursing using Pearson's Chi-square test with a value of 0.577 and an asymptotic significance of 0.447, α (>0.05). The dimension with the highest relationship is stress management of the lifestyle variable with the eating habits variable, which was estimated with Pearson's Chi-square test with a value of 4.776 and an asymptotic significance of 0.029, α (<0.05). It was shown that the nursing students of the National University of San Martín presented an unhealthy lifestyle and adequate eating habits.
