The objective of the research was to evaluate the adaptability of three varieties of cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) under the edaphoclimatic conditions of the Lamas department of San Martín, and to determine the variety of cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) from greater adaptability, referred to the quality and profitability in the town of Lamas. The three varieties of cabbage were (Corazón de buey, Crespa and Quintalera). To carry out this research an experimental statistical design distributed in randomized complete blocks (DBCA) was used, with three treatments and with four repetitions each, the place where the experiment was installed corresponds to the life zone is located within the forest dry tropical (bs-T). The adaptability of the three varieties was evaluated based on six variables which are plant height, diameter of the base of the stem (cm), diameter of the head (cm), length of the head (cm), weight of the head (kg), Yield (kg.ha-1). The variety that presented a greater response was Col Crespa, reaching an average yield of 58 878.18 kg.ha-1. The cabbage showed the lowest weight of the head with 1.71 kg. The Heart of Ox cabbage reached an average head weight of 1.79 kg and a higher yield than the Col quintalera with
