The objective of the study was to determine the risk factors that predispose to the increase in the rate of caesarean sections in pregnant teenagers in the II-2 Tarapoto Hospital, from 2011 to 2015. The following is a quantitative, analytical, retrospective, cross-sectional research with case and control design. The sample, control group and study was of 353 pregnant women respectively. The selected technique was a documentary analysis and the data collection instrument was the data record card prepared by the researchers. Results: Of the 100% of adolescents who have been disappeared, 70.3% range from 15 to 19 years. 63.7% are married / cohabitants, 95.2% are located in the primary or secondary level and 57.2% come from the rural area. In the quinquennium 2011 - 2015, the incidence of caesarean sections has decreased, in 2011 it was 66.6% and in 2015 49.0%. Conclusion: Among the sociocultural risk factors, we find primary and secondary education level, maternal age between 10 to 14 years, rural origin. Maternal factors: prenatal care <6, previous caesarean section, Hellp syndrome and white code. Fetal factors: fetal distress (OR: 2,244 year 2011, Vs OR: 2,254 year 2015) and presentation dystocia (OR: 0,661 year 2011 Vs OR: 1,191 year 2015). Labor factors: pelvic cepal disproportion (OR: 2,213 year 2011 Vs OR: 2.35 year 2015) and dysfunctional labor (OR: 2,032 year 2011 Vs OR: 2,038 year 2015). Placental factors: the DPP (OR: 2,021 year 2011 Vs OR: 2,019 year 2015) and the Oligohydramnios (OR: 0,224 year 2011 Vs OR: 2,059 year 2015).
