Aggregation of institutional repositories for the generation of information on the scientific performance of Peruvian universities. Over the years, the amount of academic material continues to increase, generating a large amount of data which is stored directly in institutional repositories; this large amount of data is not properly exploited by IR managers, because the analysis methods do not deliver high-value information, thus limiting decision making. The objective is to generate information on the scientific performance of Peruvian universities by aggregating their institutional repositories, implementing a dashboard-based management information system for the generation of information, which allowed the evaluation of the universities' scientific performance. This research covers Peruvian licensed universities registered in SUNEDU. The research is non-experimental, descriptive; its main procedure is the extraction of IR metadata using interoperability protocols through web scraping. The metadata obtained were processed and visualized in a dashboard. The results obtained showed that most of the universities that maintain their IR enabled belong to a private management type, and that a large number of universities do not maintain a correct management of their metadata. In this way, it was determined that the northern and central regions, as well as the coast of the country, have the largest amount of academic material, which reflects a better access to scientific and academic resources. It was concluded that the large amount of data hinders the visualization of metadata, so it is recommended that in future research, data visualization should focus on big data solutions.
