The research entitled "Tax culture and its relationship with informality in lodgings located in the Tarapoto district, year 2018" had the general objective of determining the relationship between tributary culture and informality in lodgings located in the Tarapoto district, year 2018. The type of study applied; the design of the research is non-experimental: the research was also applied to a sample of 19 companies belonging to the lodging sector of the Tarapoto district, which were used as data collection for surveys for both variables, which were applied to what is stipulated in the shows. Being able to reach the following conclusion, it was determined after applying the Pearson correlation as shown in Table 11, it shows the existence of a significant correlation because the P value (Bilateral Sig.) Is <a 0.05, that is, "0.000"; Likewise, it is observed that the correlation coefficient shows a positive value of 0.745, which shows that the correlation is high, which is why the Hi is accepted, which indicates that “There is a significant relationship between tax culture and informality in the lodgings located in the Tarapoto district, year 2018 ”. According to the level of tax culture on the part of the lodgings of the District of Tarapoto, we see that it is at a low level at 63%, while 21% is at a very low level, 11% is at a very regular level and 5% is at a high level. Regarding the level of informality on the part of the lodgings of the Tarapoto District, it can be observed by the companies surveyed that we find that it is at a regular level with 58%, while 21% is at a high level, the 16% is at a low level and 5% is at a very low level.
