Multiple intelligences and their relationship with personality types in students at the National University of San Martín, 2021 Multiple intelligences, as well as personality, are stable traits that last over time, and therefore need to be explored, considering the existence of several factors that influence the learning process. The research aimed to determine the relationship between multiple intelligences and personality types in students of the Artistic Activities course at the National University of San Martin, Tarapoto district, during the 2021-II semester. The design was descriptive correlational, non-experimental. Hans Eysenck's personality instrument form B and Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences instrument were applied, and the data obtained were processed by means of the Chi-square contrast statistic. According to the results, predominance is found in the linguistic verbal intelligence type (32.9%), as well as predominance in the choleric personality type (50.7%). Furthermore, the null hypothesis is accepted due to the fact that X2c<X2t, thus, both variables are not related. These results lead to the conclusion that the type of personality and the type of multiple intelligences are dependent variables, i.e., that they do not correlate with each other in the students of the second cycle of the subject of Artistic Activities of the National University of San Martín.
