The objective of this research work was to correlate the use of the Patient Care Registration System (SISRAP) with the control processes of the Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, period 2020. The type of research was basic, descriptive and correlational, which responds to a non-experimental design. Through a non-probabilistic convenience sampling, the selected sample consisted of 15 workers who belonged to the service modules. The technique used was the survey and the data collection instrument was the questionnaire for each study variable, which were previously evaluated in the field by experts. The descriptive results indicated that the use of the Patient Care Registration System (SISRAP) was regular at 53%; the same percentage (53%) of workers perceived the level of control processes in the patient care service as regular, with the following dimensions: decision making (60%), effectiveness (47%) and efficiency (53%) at regular levels. Through inferential statistics, it was determined that the Patient Care Registration System (SISRAP) correlates and significantly influences the following dimensions: decision making (0.000 < 0.05; r = 0.832), effectiveness (0.000 < 0.05; r = 0.924) and efficiency (0.000 < 0.05; r = 0.760). Therefore, it was concluded that the use of the Patient Care Registration System (SISRAP) does have a significant influence on the control processes in the patient care service, being found with a bilateral sig. (0.000 < 0.05), obtaining as a result the Pearson correlation (r = 0.909) represented by a very high positive correlation between the variables studied, which indicates dependence between them.
