The research was carried out in the district of Jepelacio, with the wastewater treatment plant located in the district of the same name as the study area, where seven wastewater parameters were monitored during the months of November, December, January and February. The main objective of this research is to: "Determine the pollutant removal efficiency of the Jepelacio wastewater treatment plant". Eight samples were taken during four months (November, December, January and February), taking into account the parameters established by D.S. N° 003-2010-MINAM, to determine the efficiency of pollutant removal at the WWTP, using a formula that took into account the sum of loads entering and leaving the plant. From the results obtained in the laboratory, none of the seven parameters exceeded the MPL in the effluent, the opposite being true for the influent. It is concluded that the highest percentage of removal is of thermotolerant coliforms (99.9 %), followed by oils and fats (90.5 %), the parameters with the lowest percentage of removal being pH (3.9 %) and temperature (1.7 %), from all this it is obtained that the efficiency of pollutant removal is significant because 100% of the evaluated parameters are removed when leaving the wastewater treatment plant.
