This research was based on the analyzes of the competitive position of Sacha Inchi oil (Plukenetia volubilis) for the French market. There are five companies in the San Martin region: Shanantina S.A.C., Sacha Foods S.A.C., Agroindustrias Amazónicas S.A., Corporación Selva Alta S.A.C. and Agroindustrias Inti Killa Wasi S.A. Two of these companies, Shanantina S.A.C. and Agroindustrias Amazónicas S.A., are currently exporting to different markets, especially to France. This agricultural economic sector is very important, when performing analysis based on the environment and qualitative qualification of the SWOT analysis, it was found that it has a competitive position of tranquility and also has more strengths than weaknesses, result obtained from the analysis of the internal and external environment, being very favorable the commercial growth of sacha inchi oil in the short, medium and long term in domestic and international markets, especially France, which is being recognized by the population for its nutraceutical qualities. The analysis of the five competitive forces demostrates that little rivalry exists among the companies in the region, which allows them to achieve their expansion individually. The entry of potential competitors into the sector is not a threat due to the ever-increasing demand for sacha inchi oil. Substitute products do not represent a threat to the product because sacha inchi oil is considered the best in the world because it has omega 3, 6 and 9, which makes it strong in terms of positioning in any market. Sacha inchi oil from Peru has managed to position itself in the international market as a native product and has presented a significant increase in exports to different countries in Europe and nowadays to North America; in the global context, exports have managed to position the country as the first producer and exporter worldwide, in relation to Colombia and Ecuador, this due to the importance of external demand mainly by European countries, where demanding consumers with high per capita income seek to improve their quality of life by seeking for a healthy diet through the consumption of natural products.
