Design of the drinking water system for native communities, Awajún district, Rioja province, San Martín region The present research work is of a descriptive applied type and its purpose is to solve social problems through infrastructure. It has a detailed procedure and the title of the project is: Design of drinking water systems for aboriginal communities, Awajún district, Rioja province, San Martín region, It includes the field studies to be carried out that will generate detailed information on the project site and available basic services. Aboriginal communities of the Awajún district are unable to guarantee their quality of life due to the lack of infrastructure for basic potable water services. Future projects include the construction of a potable water system to serve the indigenous households and communities living in Bajo Naranjillo, the capital of the Awajún district, CC.NN. Bajo Naranjillo and Río Soritor. For this purpose, a 20-year hydraulic and structural infrastructure system will be implemented. The objective of this study is to analyze the drinking water supply system and use hydraulic engineering to solve social problems, thereby improving people's quality of life. Once the design is completed, it is expected that the health and welfare of the residents will improve, the system will be efficient, and it will contribute to the sustainable development of the local community.
