The present research work aimed at anxiety and depression related to the quality of life of the Elderly, Centro Integral Adult Mayor (CIAM) - Tabalosos - Lamas - San Martín. Period from January to June 2021. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study, cross-sectional-non-experimental design, the sample was 40 Older adults, as an instrument the Zung Anxiety scale was used for the variables and the Geriatric Depression scale to assess Depression. - Yesavage test and the WHOQOL-BREF Test was used for the quality-of-life variable. Results: 52.5% (21) are between the ages of 60 to 70 years of age, 65.0% (26) are male, 100% (40) of the studied population come from Tabaloso, 67.5% (27) are cohabiting, 47.5% (19) have primary education, 67.5% (27) live with their children, 80.0% (32) suffer from some disease, and 45.0% (18) profess the Catholic religion. 55.0% (22) present moderate anxiety, followed by 22.5% (9) are slightly anxious, 12.5% (5) do not present anxiety and 10.0% (4) present severe anxiety. 72.5% (29) present moderate depression, followed by 27.5% (11) present severe depression and none of the respondents present mild depression. 55.0% (22) have a regular quality of life, 37.5% (15) have a poor quality of life and only 7.5% (3) show a good quality of life. Concluding that there is a significant relationship between both variables according to the non-parametric chi square statistical test read with a level of significance p <0.032 and p <0.041, showing that there is a relationship between both variables.
