The present work entitled "Civil reparation in sentences of conviction for the crime of physical aggressions against members of the family group and the due motivation, in the First Court of Preparatory Investigation of Tarapoto, 2018", had as general objective, to determine the civil reparation in sentences of conviction for the crime of physical aggressions against members of the family group and the due motivation, in the First Court of Preparatory Investigation of Tarapoto, 2018. The type of research was basic quantitative, descriptive correlational level, non-experimental design, with a sample of 45 sentences, using the technique of documentary collection and documentary analysis. Having as a general hypothesis that there is no relationship between the civil reparation in sentences of conviction for the crime of physical aggression against members of the family group and the due motivation in the First Court of Preparatory Investigation of Tarapoto, 2018; concluding that there is indeed no relationship between the civil reparation in sentences of conviction for the crime of physical aggression against members of the family group and the due motivation, in the First Court of Preparatory Investigation of Tarapoto, 2018; having a significance level greater than 0.05 (p>0.05). The same that allows affirming that if there is a correct motivation of the civil reparation, this will not generate negative effects in the judicial decision and that on the contrary, it will avoid questions of lack of judicial motivation and/or defective motivation.
