University entrepreneurship model to increase entrepreneurial intention in UNSM students Higher education institutions assume the challenge of training competent professionals capable of undertaking through the innovation of products and/or services that satisfy the needs of society and cover little explored opportunities; however, the deficient management in institutional entrepreneurship influences the low entrepreneurial intention of the students. In this sense, the present investigation had as objective to formulate a model of university entrepreneurship to increase the entrepreneurial intention in students of the National University of San Martín. For this, a basic study with a mixed approach, descriptive-correlational level, with a cross-sectional purposeful scope was chosen; where the population was made up of 1481 students from the last three cycles and the sample was 305 selected by stratified sampling, who filled out two valid and reliable questionnaires. Descriptive statistics and inferential analysis were applied using Spearman's Rho correlation. Among the results, it was highlighted that the university entrepreneurship model developed at UNSM was regular (56.1%) and the entrepreneurial intention was high (59.6%), with a very low positive relationship (p-value <0.05 , Rho=0.131) between the variables; This reality led to the design and proposal of a model of university entrepreneurship based on 8 pillars based on the theories of the scientific literature that, if applied, would increase the entrepreneurial intention of the students. It is concluded that the proposed model is valid and applicable according to expert judgment.
