The present research is entitled "Risk of recidivism of violent acts and personality traits in aggressors of spousal violence in Hospital II-2 Tarapoto". The general objective was to determine whether personality traits condition the risk of recidivism of violence in aggressors of spousal violence referred to Hospital II-2 Tarapoto by the Specialized Family Court. 2019. A basic study of descriptive correlational level and non-experimental cross-sectional design was carried out. A total of 123 cases of male aggressors were studied, denounced by their partner or ex-partner who had been referred to Hospital II-2 Tarapoto by the Specialized Family Court for psychological treatment. The instrument based on Millon's multiaxial theory of personality and psychopathology (MCMI - II) and the Manual for the Assessment of Risk of Intimate Partner Violence (S.A.R.A) were applied. The results showed that the predominant trait of the aggressors against spousal violence is thought disorder with a severity of 89.4%. The risk of recidivism of spousal violence of aggressors with personality traits such as sadistic aggressiveness, compulsive, narcissism is high at 95.9%. It is concluded that the predominant personality traits condition the risk of recidivism of violence in aggressors of spousal violence referred by the Specialized Family Court to the Hospital II-2 Tarapoto 2019, according to a significance level of 0.000 less than the margin of error 0.05.
