Social networks and choice of contraceptive methods in adolescents, Educational Institution Jesús Alberto Miranda Calle Moyobamba - 2023 Technological adthere’s no influence of networks’s use with the choice of some contraceptive method. Advances in technology have made social networks an activity that has excelled among its different users, incorporating more and more people into its use and due to this, more than half of the people are classified as preferred services, so its use is considered an important factor in informing and helping to make necessary decisions regarding the contraceptive method to use. The objective of this study was to establish the relationship between social networks and the choice of contraceptive methods in adolescents at the Jesús Alberto Miranda Calle Moyobamba Educational Institution - 2023. It was a basic research, non-experimental, quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive correlational design, the population consisted of 152 students and the sample consisted of 60 adolescent students, the technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. Results, the level of use of social networks in adolescents was medium by 81.7%, high by 16.7% and low by 1.7%, and the level of choice of contraceptive methods in adolescents was medium by 91.7%, low by 5% and high by 3.3%. There is no relationship between the dimensions knowledge, attitude, behavior and exposure to the use of social networks and the variable choice of contraceptive methods (p > 0.05). It is concluded that there is no significant relationship between social networks and the choice of contraceptive methods in adolescents (p= 0.372), therefore, there is no influence of the use of social networks with the choice of any contraceptive method.
