The present research study was carried out at the "Pablo Yacu" Production and Research Center of the National University of San Martin, Faculty of Ecology district of Moyobamba, province of Moyobamba, Department of San Martin. Its objective was General: To evaluate the carbon sequestration of five forest species in a Secondary Forest, in the Pablo Yacu Production and Research Center. Four study plots of (50 x 100) were set up, divided into 8 subplots (25 x 100) where the dendrometric relationship and carbon capture will be evaluated. All the data were collected for the respective study of the dendrometric influence on the capture of coal in the secondary forest of the Pablo Yacu research and production center, seeking that the dendrometric relationship influences the capture of carbon, some more than others. At the treatment level, the averages were: T1: 0.005232 Tn / Ha, T2: 0.050699 Tn / Ha; T3: 0.004831 Tn / Ha; T4: 0.005032 Tn / Ha. At the level of the blocks, the results obtained for the four blocks were: B1: 0.055373 Tn / Ha; B2: 0.010421Tn / Ha, the amount of carbon captured by five species (Fierro caspi, Hushunquiro, Moena, mojara caspi, Quinilla) is 0.007821Tn / Ha in an area of 2 hectares. The carbon capture made by each species is: Fierro caspi: 0.000807 Tn / Ha, Hushunquiro: 0.002771 Tn / Ha, Moena: 0.000963 Tn / Ha, Mojara caspi: 0.001931 Tn / Ha; Quinilla: 0.001349 Tn / Ha. Therefore, the analysis of variance showed that there are significant differences between the blocks since the p value or significance is below 0.05% in the same way for the samplings, thus rejecting the hypothesis that all the blocks and sampling as the dendrometric relationship of five forest species does not significantly influence the capture of carbon in a secondary forest at the Pablo Yacú 2015 research and production center.
