The objective of this descriptive study was to describe the factors that determine fertilization in the production of palm heart seedlings in Bonilla, San Martin 2022. The methodology of the study was descriptive and exploratory, using reliable sources and bibliographic background. For this purpose, the potential impact of fertilization on the production of palm heart seedlings was described and an economic analysis of palm heart production of the Bonilla locality was developed. It is concluded that there are 6 ecotypes for the potential impact of fertilization on the production of heart of palm seedlings in the locality of Bonilla, with Paranapura being the most widely planted in that area. The application of NPK and microelements such as Equilibra and Basacote Plus 6 at a rate of 1 g/plant before and after sowing, achieves an average height of 35.85 cm after 60 days, also increasing the quality of the diameter every 15 days from 1.1 to 2.4 cm, obtaining a greater resistance to pests and diseases. Heliothis armigera is the most common pest and the most common diseases are Curvularia sp. and Xantomona sp., with applications of Equilira and basacote a survival rate of 95% and a mortality rate of 5% is obtained, producing an average of 8,000 stems/ha-1. The economic analysis of palm heart production in Bonilla shows three types of technology: traditional, medium and high, of which the high technology has a higher yield of 95%, its production cost is S/ 0.65 per seedling and the production cost is S/ 5,658.00/ha-1, which doubles the production costs compared to the traditional technology. However, the profitability is 41.43% higher compared to the other types of technology, which only reached a profitability of 16.02% and 27.25%.
